# Third-Party Licenses

What the package bundles, and under which licence.

Binding System bundles the components below. Nothing here requires action from you: every licence permits redistribution inside a product, and the full texts ship with the package.

## Libraries

<table><thead><tr><th width="230">Component</th><th width="180">Licence</th><th>What it is used for</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Mono.Cecil</strong></td><td>MIT</td><td>IL inspection and generation. Ships with the runtime assembly. <a href="https://github.com/jbevain/cecil">jbevain/cecil</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>MonoHook</strong></td><td>MIT</td><td>Method hooking used by the editor for hot-path optimization on Windows. Ships as <code>MethodHookWin.dll</code>, loaded only in the Windows editor.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>PointerLibStandard</strong></td><td>Bundled</td><td>Unsafe pointer helpers behind the fast accessors, in <code>Postica.Common.Reflection</code>.</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
`MethodHookWin.dll` is Windows-editor only. On Apple Silicon and other ARM64 hosts the package detects the architecture and takes the safe code path instead.
{% endhint %}

## Fonts

All three families are Google Fonts released under the **SIL Open Font License 1.1**, which permits bundling and redistribution inside a product. The full licence text of each family ships beside its files, in `Editor/Resources/_bsfonts/`.

<table><thead><tr><th width="290">Family</th><th>Where it is used</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Barlow Condensed</strong> (600, 700)</td><td>The wordmark, taglines and captions. <a href="https://github.com/google/fonts">google/fonts</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Barlow</strong> (800)</td><td>The numeral 3 only. <a href="https://github.com/google/fonts">google/fonts</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>JetBrains Mono</strong> (400, 700)</td><td>Micro-labels, ordinals and version numbers. <a href="https://github.com/JetBrains/JetBrainsMono">JetBrains/JetBrainsMono</a> v2.304</td></tr></tbody></table>

The fonts are editor-only assets. They are not included in a build.

## Sample assets

The **Bindings Demo** sample includes audio under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Attributions are listed in the sample's own `README.md`, which is imported alongside it.

<table><thead><tr><th width="330">Asset</th><th>Source and licence</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Groovy Bass Action Theme Music</td><td>by jjmarsan, <a href="https://freesound.org/s/476069/">freesound.org/s/476069</a>, CC BY 4.0</td></tr><tr><td>baseball-hit-01, -02, -04</td><td>by Eelke, <a href="https://freesound.org/s/266641/">freesound.org</a>, CC BY 4.0</td></tr></tbody></table>

Samples are opt in and are not imported unless you ask for them. See [Demo Scenes](/binding-system-3/tutorials/samples.md).

## Binding System itself

Binding System is distributed through the Unity Asset Store under the [Asset Store End User License Agreement](https://unity.com/legal/as-terms). One licence per seat, as with any Asset Store tool.

The `Common` folder inside the package is a shared library reused across the author's other tools. It is part of the same distribution and carries the same terms.
